  Same old, same old, perfect beach experience. Fourth year at the Wallace rental. Straightforward traditional perfect beach house. I especially like the location on the beach, access to the deck from all but one of the bedrooms, the outdoor showers, cleanliness, and overall simplicity. Some might regard it as dated, but so am I. Used to own in the early 90s.

  I have rented this "old school" beach house for years. It works perfectly for our family. The F8 property mangers are very responsive. The house was clean though the home has not been updated - ie baths and kitchen, etc. But everything is in working order and it is on a fabulous ocean front lot and it is priced reasonably compared to the other very expensive homes. My kids and grandkids love this place. There are two large outside showers and lots of toys, boogie boards, baby pools, chairs, etc. are availble to use. Each bedroom has it's own sink and toilet and shares a shower with one other bedroom. It really works like a 4 bath home. Also I used the Ship Shape Concierge service. They met me at the home and quickly brought up all the luggage, etc. I pre-ordered groceries from Harris Teeter and they picked them up and had them in the home when I arrived !!I also used Chef Clay for our first night dinner, breakfast, etc. I would use this service again. Overall, we had a great week and I will be back next year !

Though it is an older home, it has been well maintained and has lots of chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, etc. Also, there are two large enclosed showers under the house which I loved.The beach path is right beside the house !   We have rented this great family home on the beach for many years. This property is older but is kept in good condition. Unfortunately, we are no longer allowed to used the elevator for luggage due to a new law; but we were able to hire Ship Shape to have young men meet us there to help with luggage. The home is ocean front with a great beach path and the home is well stocked with chairs, rolling cart,sand toys, etc. Also, there are 2 showers under the home that we used. The home could use some updating such as new mattresses, etc but it works well for our family. We will return again next year !

  I have rented the Wallace home for many years and it is great for a family especially with young children.This ocean front property is older but it has lots of beach chairs and equipment. I was allowed to use the elevator which really helped me alot with heavy coolers, luggage etc. This four BR home says it has 2 baths, but every BR has their own toilet/sink. Two showers(1 tub) upstairs and 2 showers underneath house which we all use ! We had a few minor issues and the management team was very responsive (Thanks Kira!). I will be renting this home again !

  The Wallace house had everything we needed for a week at Figure Eight Island. The kitchen was well supplied along with having empty space for us to put the things we brought or bought. The beds were comfortable. We loved the rocking chairs, however, they felt like they were going to tip over backwards, so we put a towel underneath them to stabilize them.

  I have rented this home for a number of years and we love the new deck (no more splinters!).Love the fact that it is ocean front and the home is stocked with lots of beach toys, umbrellas, cart, etc. This is an older home and it could use some updates (mattresses, toilets, etc), but we love it. Having a elevator (even though it is one story) helps me so much due to a back issue. Each bedroom has a toilet/sink and shares a shower with another bedroom. There are two large showers underneath the house that we used most of the time. I will rent this home again next year !

  We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. Was expecting it to
  be a bit smaller than it was. Definitely set up for families - especially the bathroom layouts. If I would change anything it would be to upgrade/update the master shower. But everything on the whole was very nice. Would stay there again.

  The house was immaculate; everywhere was spotless! The floorplan was perfect for our needs; everything was on one level. Because of physical limitations, the elevator was an absolute necessity.
