  The Stubbs House is set on the sound with a dock and ample swimming space. The Three-storied house affords room for families with a spot for the "adults" to gather away from the fray, on the third floor. Views are spectacular. Interior art is perfect. This house is always well-maintained.

  We love this house!
  We are a large family. My wife and me and 4 grown kids with significant others. This house has room for all (and everyone gets their own bath!). This is our 3rd time renting the house, and we signed up to rent again.
  It's a bit of a walk to get to the beach. We have a wagon and tow the supplies down in the morning and then back again at the end of the day. I love the location on the marsh side of the island. Great views of the sunset, especially from the 2nd floor deck.
  The house is well equipped. Plenty of dishware for a large crowd. Numerous beach chairs for general use.
  We highly recommend this house.

  Stubbs is a wonderful house that was enjoyed by all of our multigenerational family. We all delighted in the spaciousness and the gorgeous views. The “beach” by the house’s dock was enjoyed for “tubing” and floating without the waves but all still were able to enjoy the ocean side too. The second level family room was a favorite for gathering to watch the Euro Cup games and, playing chess or just enjoying being together. Everyone having their own bedroom and bath was a bonus. We have already asked for this house for next year because we all enjoyed it so much.

  Such a great house and location! Nice spaces for everyone to spread out. Kitchen was stocked well with plates, cups, etc and it was very comfortable. A few more beach chairs would be nice, but we used what they had. My one issue the past couple times we have rented at Figure 8 is the amount of passes that each house gets. This house slept 12, but we could only get 6 passes. We had a full house and begged for more passes. They were able to give us 8 passes (said they had to go to the board for approval), but we still had to figure out how to get 4 more guest onto the island. Just seems if you rent a house you should be able to accomodate your guest. We were there for a wedding weekend, so guest were coming from all over at different times.

  We love the Stubbs house! We have been coming to this house now for years and look forward to coming back. The house does need a proper ice machine as the one in the freezer hasn’t worked the last few years. Also, there was no toilet paper or paper towels when we arrived. I understand it is our responsibility to provide these products but there should be at least one roll in every bathroom to start the week.

  Great property and location. The only constructive feedback is regarding blinds in the master and two bed rooms upstairs. The current shades are white and provide little morning sun protection, and the transom windows above the larger windows have no blinds at all. So, it gets very, very bright early in the morning, with no means to block the sun. For those of us that like to sleep past 6:30 am on vacation, it gets problematic. On the positive side, we really appreciated the abundance of beach chairs etc. available for use. In total, we really enjoyed our stay.

  This is really a lovely house. We had a family gathering of 10 adults and the house provided ample room for everyone to gather together and to spread out when desired. The elevator was key to allowing my parents (in their 90's) to come for the gathering.
  My favorite part was watching the sunsets from the top deck - spectacular!
  We have already placed our rental request for next year.

  Was surprised there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper in a 6-bedroom house. We were there during a "monsoon" and found there were significant leaks around windows & doors on the 3rd floor. The freezer door does not seal well. We liked the house and it worked well for our group of golfers. Had the weather been better, we likely wouldn't have even noticed the issues (except the toilet paper).
