  We had a lovely visit to Figure 8 island and the rental agency provided a smooth and easy process. The home is in a great location with ocean views from nearly every room. Expansive porches throughout provide ample covered and uncovered outdoor space to enjoy. The sunrises are spectacular. The walk down to the beach is convenient. The home does need some updating especially the kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen in particular has very old appliances and is not what you would expect from a luxury beach house. The master bath whirlpool jets have rust in them. There is ample furniture and elegant decor. The elevator is great for unloading/loading. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

  Honestly, I hesitate to review this house because I do not want others to discover this gem.I have been staying here for many years. It has been memorable for us, our children and grandchildren. We always arrive extremely excited, and when we leave, we cannot wait for the day we all come back.

  As usual, when we checked in everything was clean and in order. We've used this house before, so we knew what it should look like. The cleaning crew did not drop the ball. Ocean Point is a great location and convenient for my grandchildren to go back and forth to the beach. We'll stay at Ocean Point again.

  The 180 degree views from this house were extraordinary. So much light and very comfortable. You felt like you were on a ship with ocean views on all three sides of the house.

  Too many things continue to go wrong at Ocean Point. The elevator needs a service call to optimize its function. Air conditioner( mid level) was out all week. Door jam in upstairs master suite was broken when we arrived and the door consequently locked in the closed position. That needs a carpenter to fix. Great location, but just overused and underserviced!

  The location was perfect and the views were spectacular from every room. The house itself is dated and in need of some upgrades but everything was in working order. We were disappointed that all the "glassware" was actually acrylic which was warped from running through the dishwasher. We brought several bottles of very expensive wine so ended up going out and purchasing our own wine glasses. Also there was only ONE martini glass. The master on the ground floor needs new non-slip strips in the bath tub. The screen in the main master was totally gone so we couldn't leave the door open at night. But other than those minor things the house was really comfortable.

  We have been going to Figure Eight for almost 30 years now. The whole family looks forward to it. Most days were beautiful and sunny, but even when it rains it is special.The grandkids went surfing for the first time and cannot wait to do it again.The views are truly mesmerizing.

  Good experience except for the septic system back up which was promptly handled. However, septic system problems are preventable with regularly scheduled maintenance, especially with a high volume purely rental property.Management handled as efficiently as possible
