  The layout of this house was great for accomodating our family and our gatherings. The view of the ocean was spectacular. A couple of things need to be addressed in the kitchen - a better coffee pot or have larger filters for the current one and the ice maker needs to be fixed. Other than this, the kitchen was well-stocked. It has nice cookware. Tbe TV's are a little dated but work fine. I think having some way of lessening the sunlight coming in the kitchen and living area would be nice. the mattresses are very comfortable. I would definitely consider staying here again.

  Fabulous. A few minor issue we lived with. Ice maker does not work. Kitchen faucet head is damaged. Beach deck door from kitchen latch is old and having trouble. Master bed needs an upgrade. Maybe Sierra perfect sleeper. Sand under throw rugs. Beach shower needs new short foot hose.

  Figure Eight is our favorite place to vacation! We love the island and beach so much. We literally stay at the house for the full week enjoying beach walks, chill time, and family fun and games.   We were here for a wedding. The location was chosen because of the proximity to the event. Clean lines, comfortable living and beds.
  Plenty of kitchen supplies, just be sure to bring any spices if you will be cooking and get to know the oven. Touch pad stove top.

  We very much enjoyed the house and all aspects of it. A king bed ilu the queen upstairs by beach window would be nice. The only real issue we had was the beach access was difficult. We noticed many stairs down to the beach from private homes. I would think that the community access #3 would necessitate a stairs for the area community. The people next door in Pylon (I think) had older adults who could not get to the beach. We will want to know about improved beach access before we commit to a home in 2023.   It was great Nice house and the F8I experience speaks for itself . Only hitch was the out door shower wasn’t working and if we were staying longer than 3 nights it would have been an issue . We only called it in on Friday afternoon so they couldn’t fix it overall though the Lewis cottage worked for us

  Our stay was delightful! The house was beautiful, clean and well-furnished! We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every appliance and utensil that we needed! The high chair and pack 'n play was very helpful for our grandchild. The deck overlooking the ocean was our favorite gathering place!

  We rented tge Lewis house on the ocean. This was our 9th year on Figure 8 with our children and we always have a great time. The house worked really well for a lot of people and is next to beach access .we cooked a lot and the kitchen was very well appointed. We did notice that there are stains on a sofa and some other things that should have been cleaned properly. Overall we liked the house and it’s location.

  Check in was super easy and fast. Property was lovely and perfectly layed out for our family. A few things did not work correctly ( Roku for outside TV, and the stove was hard to operate, grill was too small for a house of this size. Other than that, we loved the house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  The Lewis house was the perfect place for a winter pandemic getaway. Wonderful location, great views, well appointed. Took a bit to get the hang of the no touch kitchen faucet, and would have liked to know about the induction cooktop before arriving (some of the cookware we brought woudn't work with the induction). But everything else was perfect. Well appointed, comfortable beds and lounging spaces, easy beach access for winter beach walks, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals at the property. We'd love to visit again during the summer where we could really enjoy the beach front property and all the outdoor space at the house. We will definitely plan a return trip!
