  We were in town for a wedding in the off season. We used the house more as hotel rooms. Everything was neat and tidy and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms neat and clean. The kitchen is out dated, but we did not use much. Location is excellent. Wish there were more adults bikes (only 1). Laundry is in the basement next to the garage, so if you are using, not extremely convenient.

  Please, please tell the owner that the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced.... I know multiple renters have made this request.. the realtor office even told me last year that it had been replaced and it has not been replaced. It is so old and sags in the middle so by the morning you are in the middle of the bed. If you continue to rent this house, put the money into replacing the mattress which is not a lot of money. You cannot sleep, it kills your back and multiple request have been made about this mattress in this rental. Please replace it! It is just part of the maintance of renting a house! Thank you!!

  It was a very nice stay although there were lots of roaches (inside and out), which was not the case the last time we stayed at 8 Escape. Figure 8 Realty was very responsive and called an exterminator right away.

  Eight Escape is a classic property. We really enjoyed the owner's special touches -- two refrigerators, ice machine, extra dining areas, and beautiful dock for boating and swimming.

  The master bedroom has got to be replaced. I asked before I rented this house if it had been replaced and the reality office said yes. It had not and it completely worn out. Replace the mattress if you are going to rent the house out for that price. It is pretty much impossible to sleep on it and I know you have had other complaints about it.

  We enjoyed our stay at Eight Escape. We were on the island for a wedding and enjoyed the convenience of being near all the associated events. A grocery store and lots of restaurants are a short drive away (off the island). There is a lot of traffic off the island so we learned to make the most of our trips out. We had a party of 6 and the home offered us plenty of space. The 3 bathrooms and large living area were especially appreciated. The home has lovely views of the canal and plenty of outdoor space to relax and play. There is a dock and easy access to the water. The pictures are a true representation of the property. The decor and finishes are a bit dated, but it is clean and has been well-maintained. There were a few places that showed some normal wear and tear, but nothing significant or unexpected. The reservation process was easy and check-in/out went smoothly. The home is located near a beach access and tennis courts.

  Not to be surprised at the end of rental season, the house needs some painting and reorganizing. Bugs spraying was soon to be in order. Heard some complaints about mattresses on K beds. Overall very pleased with the ammenities.New gutters needed or repaired on back side. Love to rent June 17/22

  We love the house and the dock. The kitchen appliances are getting old and the stove doesn't function great. The carpet really does have a bad odor when the a/c is not on a low temperature and running consistently.

  We like boating and tennis so the location was perfect. The bedroom config also was exactly what we needed with 2 families and kids/guests. The interior is a little dated but all the furniture is comfortable - beds included - and we used all of the gathering areas in front and back, dining on the front porch every night. Sunrise and sunset views.Ease of boating, seeing when the tennis courts were available and walking to the beach made it a very convenient setup for us. Management company is very friendly and responsive. Would definitely come back.
