  Nice location. However, horrible water pressure in downstairs shower. A trickle of water from shower head. Very warm in the house mid day. A\C stayed at least 6 or 7 degrees over what we preferred (which was 70d) which made it hot. Would cool down overnight but then raise back up by mid day and esp if cooking in kitchen it was too hot. The house desperately needs a de-humidifier. Last, swarms of beetles around and in the house made it unpleasant. Last night there I was awake from 3am on dealing with them and not sleeping for fear of them landing on us, which they did 2 nights in a row.

  This was our second stay at Carter 308 - we loved the house, location and attention to detail! This house is incredibly well stocked - so much so that we had brought many duplicates of items already there. Some updates could be made to certain rooms but overall it was a comfortable stay!

  We have been vacationing at Figure 8 for over 20 yrs.! Truly a summer paradise ! Realty agency staff have always been fabulous to work with and always come through when unexpected changes happen in an anticipated rental ! We stay ocean front and center of island ! Homes are well furnished and supplied! Always exceptionally clean and any issue quickly addressed! The 3 weeks had constant ocean breezes and did not miss a single beach day! Summer storms are frequent but never last! Having Harris Teeter and great restaurants close by is very advantageous ! It was great to escape 90 plus temps with humidity back at home!!! We are always grateful and rejuvenated after spending time at Figure 8 Island which by the way is “ never” crowded!

  An older home with 4 Bdrs., but location, location is what is important! Private beach access to a wide beach north section of island! Very sparsely populated section even at hight of summer! Great section to bike both the beach and North and South of Island! Great marsh views and sunsets ! Well stocked kitchen !

  WE have been coming to Figure 8 for @ 18 years! Love the serenity of the Island. Close to grocery store and multitude of great restaurants! Figure 8 Realty is fabulous to deal with and very responsive if any issues arise! LOve every home we have ever rented! Very clean and well stocked!
