  We have rented on Figure Eight for several years & love it. We're hoping to buy a house at some point when the perfect property becomes available. Until then, we happily rent and until this year, we have not had many (if any) issues. Unfortunately, this year was a bit different:
  - Broken glass fragments (plus a lot of crumbs and pieces of food) in between cushions in the family room couch.
  - The fabric softener receptacle in the washing machine was obstructed so water/fabric softener had not drained when the machine was used, water had been sitting in it long enough to grow mildew.
  - The outdoor trash cans were overflowing when we arrived; in particular, the recycle bin was overflowing with numerous pieces of trash, all loose & unbagged.
  - We did not receive a new sponge, dish soap, or new dishwasher detergent, and while we are averse to wasting soap/detergent, from a sanitation perspective, we should have at least received a new sponge. Taking into consideration the rental cost, we should have received all new kitchen cleaning items as described.
  
  All in all, the house is beautiful and the cosmetic renovations recently completed looked fantastic. In spite of the issues we encountered, we would happily rent Boudreau again and certainly recommend it!

  Wonderful staff at figure8 Realty. Very accommodating. House was up-to-date with great view of the ocean. Loved the relative sparsity of beach goers. Only drawback was the chemical smell throughout the house most prominent in the basement. This undoubtedly represents creosote, composed of multiple chemicals and is a health hazard to workers with close exposure to it as well as to the soil surrounding treated timbers. at times it was overwhelming. I'm a physician as well as my son. We did get used to the smell upstairs and we were advised at time of leasing that there was this particular odor. I bring it up only in hopes that the owners can ameliorate it. It is not a healthy odor. BUT, want to emphasize overall experience wonderful. I would recommend this rental property to a friend with the very significant above disclaimer
